Here at Hillside we have three luxury 'glamping' options for you to choose from:

Deluxe Mega Pod

Our Deluxe Mega Pods provide a complete glamping experience. The contemporary country decor creates a comfortable space to relax and unwind, establishing a great base for you to explore our stunning North Yorkshire landscape.

THE DELUXE MEGA PODS CONSISTS OF:

• A kitchenette area - for you to be able to prepare your meals for the day. This is equipped with a Belfast sink, microwave, fridge, kettle and food preparation area. Cook up a treat with your pods' induction hob. With all the cutlery/crockery, utensils, pans and washing up items provided for your self-catering needs, all there is left to do is get the shopping in. 
• A bathroom - including a toilet, basin, heated towel rail and enclosed shower. In addition, we also have three luxury wet rooms available close by for added comfort. Towels are provided in our Deluxe Mega Pods. 
• A five-person capacity – The pod has one fixed double bed and one sofa bed. This our largest pod also incorporates a bunk bed, suitable for a small adult/ child, increasing the sleeping capacity to 5 persons. Bedding is all included in your booking for the number of guests that are staying. 
• An underfloor heating system – Fully adjustable for those seeking their perfect temperature.
• A Velux window – Let there be light! With a Velux window providing vast amounts of light you will feel energised for the day ahead.
• A lounge area - with an L shape sofa facing a mounted flat screen TV so you can relax at the end of the day.
• Electric sockets - three pin sockets provided in convenient positions throughout the pod.
• Raised decking - so you can walk straight out of the pod on to a decked area ideal for sitting and enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning.
• Free Wi-Fi – Unwind after a long day of exploring with complementary Wi-Fi for up to two devices.
• Picnic Table – A great space to enjoy your evening with a few drinks in hand. 

Mega Pod

We source only the finest luxury camping pods here at Hillside and our Mega Pods are locally built in North Yorkshire. We offer guests a warm cosy, comfortable glamping experience where you can enjoy the feeling of being close to nature in the surrounding countryside whilst also enjoying your home comforts.

EACH MEGA POD CONSISTS OF:

• A kitchenette area - for you to be able to prepare your meals for the day. This is equipped with sink, microwave, fridge, kettle and food preparation area. A cutlery/crockery set is available for hire or you can bring your own camping pack. 
• A dining area - with an extending dining table with two chairs and two folding chairs for you to enjoy a meal.
• A sleeping area - including a fixed double bed and a double sofa bed perfect for a night’s sleep in the countryside. Please note that bedding and pillows are not included in your booking, however they are available to add as an extra to your booking if required.
• A lounge area - with an L shape sofa facing a mounted flat screen TV so you can relax at the end of the day.
• A wet room - including a toilet, basin and shower. In addition, we also have three luxury wet rooms available close by for added comfort. Towels are not included with your booking, however a towel bundle is available to hire if required. 
• Electric sockets - provided in convenient positions throughout the pod.
• WiFi - available on site to purchase at the reception at rates of £1 per day, £2 for 3 days or £5 per week per device.
• Raised decking - so you can walk straight out of the pod on to a decked area ideal for sitting and enjoying a cup of coffee on the morning. 
• Your own picnic table & bench - on a gravel area at the front of the pod, ideal for sitting out in the sun or a BBQ. A small gas BBQ is available for hire from reception.
• Electric heating - which you can adjust yourself for the perfect temperature.

The bedding, towels and cutlery/crockery is not included as standard in our Mega Pods in order to give a cheaper option and for those keen campers that already have their own equipment and wish to have a camping experience with some added comforts!

Mega Pod – Dog Friendly

With outstanding natural beauty and established walking routes on offer at Hillside, your dog will love the sights, sounds, and smells of a nature walk. Why not bring your camera to capture the joys of nature while your companion sniffs out the trail of local wildlife.

• Two small or one large dog are permitted - if you have any queries regarding this please contact us directly.
• We advise you to bring your dog’s own bed to make them feel more at home during their stay.
