Site Rules

Security Barrier

The Security Barrier can be accessed using your gate fob. This should not be used to let any other vehicles onto the site other than your main car. You are solely responsible for securing the caravan, motorhome or other accommodation.
You may only use alarms of the silent, monitored type and not audible alarms.

Vehicles

Only one car per pitch is allowed on site. Extra cars must be registered in reception and parked in the car park. Fees apply. Commercial Vehicles and vans are not permitted on the site and should be parked in the car park. All vehicles you use on the park must be insured for use on the public road. Motor vehicle repairs must not be carried out at the park, but a recognised breakdown service may attend in the event of a breakdown. Quad bikes, trials bikes and powered scooters are not permitted on the park.

Electric Vehicles

Electric vehicles should not be charged using the bollard on the pitch. Doing so may result in you being asked to leave the park. Please use our dedicated electric vehicle charging point.

RVs/Fifth Wheel Caravans

Unfortunately, RVs over 9 meters and fifth wheel caravans are not permitted on site.

Speed Limit

To ensure the safety of all guests a strict speed limit of 5mph or less should be used at all times.

Occupants

Your caravan or motorhome may not be used for sleeping a number of persons greater than the ‘maximum sleeping capacity’ for which it was designed. There is a maximum of six people per pitch occupying the unit overnight.

Visitors

Visitors are limited to 4 people and 1 car per pitch booked. Fees apply for visitors and cars. All visitors must report to reception and cars must be parked in the car park. It is your responsibility to ensure that your visitors and all occupiers of your caravan, motorhome or other accommodation adhere to the Site Rules.

Awnings

Awnings are erected at your own risk. Any damage/injury caused due to a loose awning is the responsibility of the owner. Please be sensible about weather conditions when choosing to erect your awning. No electric awning heaters to be used.

Drains

In order to ensure the smooth running of the park, could you please refrain from putting any insoluble items (e.g. nappy liners, toilet wipes, etc.) down the toilets or chemical emptying points as they block up the systems. No bleach or disinfectant should be tipped in the waste water drains as it impairs the functioning of the biological sewage treatment plant.

Safety

Please be aware that there is a pond, containing deep water, on the lakeside area of the park. There is also a beck at the north end of the park. Please be careful when walking around these areas and ensure children are supervised at all times. All children must be kept out of the main farmyard area. It is not permitted for any work to be carried out on your caravan whilst on the park, other than by a qualified tradesman with appropriate public liability insurance. Ladders (including stepladders) are not permitted to be used whilst on the park. You must ensure that all occupants of your caravan/motorhome are familiar with the location of the Fire Points and the contents of the Fire Notices displayed at each point.

Play Area

Children playing on the play area must be supervised by an adult. Children must also be careful when crossing the road from the park to the amenity area. No children should be on the play area after dusk.

Recreation

All balls games should be played on the amenity area. No ball games, including swing ball, should be played in the vicinity of the caravans or pitches. You must not use a drone, powered model aircraft or any other powered flying object on the park. You must not use any Chinese lanterns, fireworks or similar. You may not use skateboards, roller skates/blades, micro scooters, powered model car (or similar) at the park.

Dogs

A maximum of 2 dogs are welcomed per pitch (not to include any of the breeds subject to the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991). All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and must not be left unattended. This means you may not leave any dog unsupervised in a caravan, motorhome or other holiday accommodation or anywhere else on the park at any time, nor may you leave any dog under the supervision of any person aged under 18. Dogs must be kept under control at all times; failure to do so may result in you being asked to leave the park. No fouling on the park – accidents must be cleaned up immediately and placed in the appropriate dog waste bins. Nothing in these Site Rules prevents you or any member of your party from bringing an assistance dog to the park if this is required to support a disability and Assistance Dogs UK or any successor body has issued an Identification Book or other appropriate evidence.

BBQ/Fires

BBQs are allowed but must be raised at least 50cm off the grass. No hot ashes to be placed in or around the rubbish bins or recycling bins. No open fires.

Noise

In order to maintain a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, all games must be played on the amenity area. It is appreciated if noise is kept to a minimum after 10:30pm.

Washing Caravans/Cars

Whilst we appreciate that everyone takes pride in the appearance of their vehicles, we ask that no hose pipes or pressure washers are used at any time as these severely reduce the water pressure for other guests.

Refuse

Please use our recycling bins whenever possible, ensuring that waste is placed in the correct bin as labelled. No awnings, chairs, electrical goods, bedding or carpets to be left in the bins. Please take them home with you. Please do not feed wild birds or animals as this can attract vermin.

Deliveries

Unfortunately we cannot accept any postal/courier deliveries to the park for customers staying on the site.
