Bookings can be made online here, through e-mail at info@hillsidecaravanpark.co.uk, via telephone on 01845 537349 or in person.

Yes, deposits are required to seal all bookings. Touring caravans require a £40 deposit for bookings less than 7 days, or £80 for more than 7 days. Glamping pods require full payment at time of booking. Granary Cottage requires a deposit of £100 subject to booking date.

We offer annual, monthly and summer storage on a pitch and store basis. Please see more details here…

For caravan customers, the standard arrival time is after 1.30pm and departure time before 11.30am. In order to make your stay as comfortable as possible, we do offer late departures subject to availability and an additional charge. If you would like a late departure please let us know as soon as possible as this gives us a greater chance of accommodating your needs.

For pod customers, the standard arrival time is after 2pm and departure time before 10am. Late departures are available subject to availability and at an additional charge. 

For Granary Cottage, the standard arrival time is after 4pm and departure time before 10am. Late departures are available subject to availability and at an additional charge. 

The park is open from 4 February to the 4 January.

We can accommodate late arrivals. If you are likely to arrive after the office has closed (after 5pm Saturday - Thursday and 6pm on Fridays), please let us know so that we can make provisions to accomodate a late check-in. 

The nearest supermarket is Tesco at Thirsk 12 minutes away from the site. The address is Station Rd, Thirsk YO7 1PZ.

We have a small on site shop selling essentials such as bread, milk and a selection of household foods.

One car is allowed on the park per pitch/pod. There is an on-site car park available for customers coming with more than one car. They must be checked in and a small fee is due upon arrival at reception.

The park operates Wi-fi on a ticket system starting from £1 for 24 hours. Wi-Fi is available free of charge in the coffee lounge where tea and coffee is also available.

Tents are not in accordance to our site licence and are not permitted on site.

We are a Calor gas stockist, please visit reception for more details regarding availability and pricing.

We stock a variety of Calor gas bottles.

Commercial vehicles must remain in the car park at reception at all times.

The Park is disabled friendly and offers two disabled friendly washrooms, one on the main amenity block and one near the reception area of the site. The reception area and coffee lounge both have access ramps and automatic opening doors which are wheelchair friendly. Please call us regarding specific accommodations to discuss your requirements.

Deluxe:

In the Deluxe Mega Pods bedding, pillows, towels, and crockery are provided.

Bedding:

Bedding is dependent on the number of guests booked in. For example, if 2 adults are booked in there will be 1 double duvet provided for the double bed. If a child is added to this booking, there will also be a single duvet for the bunk bed. If it is an extra adult (3 adults in total) a double duvet for the double bed and a double duvet for the sofa bed will be provided. If there are more than 4 guests there will be bedding for the sofa bed, double bed, and bunk bed (2 double duvets and a single). There will be a pillow for each guest and bottom sheets for each bed.

Towels:

There will be a hand towel and bathmat provided for each booking. An extra hand towel will be provided for bookings over 3 nights. There will be a bath towel for each person who is booked into the pod. Face cloths can be provided on request.

Mega Pods:

In the Mega Pods, you will need to provide your own bedding/pillows and towels or add on a bedding or towel pack at the time of booking to hire these from us. A cutlery/crockery set is available for hire, or you can bring your own camping pack.

You may wish to bring a camping stove or BBQ, alternatively we have one available to hire including gas. We have a small shop on site for food. The closest supermarket is approximately a 12 minute drive.

BBQ’s are allowed but must be raised from the ground and discarded of before departure. A gas BBQ with heating plate is available to hire from reception and is ideal for your cooking requirements during your stay.

We do have 2 pods available which are dog friendly. Please specify at the time of booking if you have a dog which you plan to bring.

In the Deluxe Mega Pods, cutlery and crockery are provided.

In the Mega pods, you will need to provide your own cutlery and crockery or alternatively, you could add a cutlery/crockery set onto your booking. This can be added in the online booking process or please ask about this when booking online, via email or in person.

The Deluxe Mega Pod sleeps up to 5 people which includes a fixed double bed, a bunk bed and a sofa bed.

The Mega Pods sleep up to 4 people which includes a fixed double bed and a sofa bed.

The cottage sleeps a maximum of five people. This includes one double bedroom with en-suite, one twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and one small double sofa bed in the living area.

The cottage is fully furnished, including bedding and towels.

Pets are unfortunately not allowed for cottage bookings.
